These classes are mainly for socialisation. They allow your puppy to come in contact with other puppies and their owners, do some basic training and have a lot of fun! The whole family is welcome to come along.

Puppies can attend class once they have had their 2nd vaccination and can come along until they are 18 weeks old, then we recommend they go on to a more formal training class.

At this age puppies have a very short attention span. We encourage everybody to bring treats and get all the puppies to do sit, down etc. This way the puppies train all through the class in a fun way and don't get bored.

Puppies should be trained with rewards and not punishment. If your puppy does something right then reward him, if he doesn't do what you ask then don't give him the treat. Do try to continue your training at home. Short sessions are best and don't be upset if your puppy doesn't want to do it in class - there are a lot of distractions. Never get annoyed with your puppy - remain calm and assertive at all times.

Please feel free to ask questions about anything you are unsure about - in class or at home.

Most importantly, have fun and enjoy developing the relationship between you and your dog.
